Brixham has a wonderful harbour which has a busy working atmosphere from early morning when the fish auctions are held until the evening when its time for the local seafood restaurant and Inns.
The 'Golden Hind' can be easily seen from every window at the front of the cottage. It sits permanently in the inner harbour which provides fun for the family.
Further towards the beach is the Marina. As you walk by the rigging you can hear the clanging and whistling from the Breakwater in the breeze as you approach the pepply beach of Brixham.
During the peak season the wondeful sea filled lido is slightly further along the coastline, followed by the coastal walk to Berry's Head.
Brixham is a perfect destination for a traditional family holiday break .
