About the owner
My grandfather bought this cottage just after WWII to
retire to but was unable to live his dream due to illness. The cottage is named after him; Kippy was his nickname as had the
knack of being able to grab short kips throughout the day. We have kept in the family ever since and now four generations
have enjoyed family holidays there. Over that time the cottage has been rented out for holiday lets to.
Unique benefits of the property
The cottage overlooks the harbour from the south
side and it's the view from there that is excellent. Kippy's is so convenient too for the shops, harbour facilities,
the nearby beaches - Breakwater, Shoalstone and Fishcombe Cove - and the marina. You can sit in the front sitting room window
and watch all that is going on if that takes your fancy and just relax with a good drink. A bracing walk out along the Breakwater
is also an option as is a slightly longer saunter up to Berry Head with its fort and Coast Guard station with the lighthouse.
